ABOUT
With a completed Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Laws double degree, majoring in Media Arts and Production from the University of Technology Sydney, Alexander is currently a Development Executive and Producer at HELIUM, overseeing and developing the slate of premium scripted productions as one of the founding team members.
Alexander served as the Associate Producer on the thrilling and AACTA Award nominated first season of crime drama Last King of the Cross, for Paramount+ (Aus & Canada) and SKY (UK & Europe). The series premiered on Paramount+ as the most-watched series on the streaming platform, with Oscar-nominee Tim Roth in the starring role as 'Ezra Shipman'. Following the popularity and success of the first season, Paramount+ has commissioned a second season of Last King of the Cross, where Alexander has returned to the Producing team.
Most recently working with distribution partner Lionsgate / eOne on the gripping pop music drama series Paper Dolls for Paramount+ and Warner Bros Discovery, Alexander was the Associate Producer on the series.
Alexander
has provided support to the producing and production teams on several major
international features and series, including Netflix’s Pieces of Her starring
Oscar-nominee Toni Collette; Peter Rabbit 2 and Marvel Studios’ feature film
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Prior to this, Alexander cut his teeth as a Unit Publicist on over 25 productions.
In 2023, Alexander was selected for the AIF and Screen NSW Charlie’s Residency in Los Angeles at The Lot Studios.
Currently in active development on a wide diverse slate of series and features, Alexander is developing a six-part drama thriller series in partnership with Netflix, as well as a six-part dark comedy with Paramount+. Alexander’s scripts have competed in Official Selection at several international screenplay competitions.
Prior to this, Alexander cut his teeth as a Unit Publicist on over 25 productions.
